Recycle to protect environment

We've always known what recycle is, but we never care to recycle. Although there are many advertisment and campaign which urge us to recycle but we still do nothing. Recycling involves processing used materials into new products in order to prevent waste of potentially useful materials, reduce the consumption of fresh raw materials, reduce energy usage, reduce air pollution (from incineration) and water pollution (from landfilling) by reducing the need for "conventional" waste disposal, and lower greenhouse gas emissions as compared to virgin production. Recycling is a key component of modern waste management and is the third component of the "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle" waste hierarchy.(WIKIPEDIA)

Do you know, based on a research by the Department of Environmental Protection, one person usually creates 360 pounds of food and yard waste per year. Nowadays, human population increases day by day. Just imagine, what will happen if 1 bilion people creates 360 pounds waste each? If we don’t recycle, we will eventually run out of space for all of our trash. Although the authorities will collect all the rubbish that we produce but it will be very costly.

We can help to reduce the amount of waste by recycling. Before we start to recycle, we must know the kinds of waste that can be recycle. Recycled waste can be divide into 4 types that is glass, plastic, aluminium and paper. After seperation, the waste can be sent to recycle centres or put into rubbish bins specified for recycling.

All coloured glass containers or clear containers like sauce bottle, cosmetics bottle and the like can be recycle. These bottles should be put into brown coloured bins. Whereas aluminium or iron materials such as water cans and food cans also can be recycle.

All paper whether coloured or not for such the newspaper, magazine, books, toilet paper, office paper, catalogs, brochure, calendar, paper boxes and more can be recycle for many uses. We can reduce the amount of tree to be cut to produce paper. This can help for the conservation of natural resources. You must be suprised the products of paper recycling. One of it is egg cartons. So, collect all your used papers and put them into blue coloured bins. This can reduce the authorities' burden.

Recycling can reduce the demand on our natural resources, also save valuable landfill space. In addition, we can overcome many types of pollution. in future time, recycling is cheaper than building and repairing disposal equipment. The most important, we can promise a better clean environment thus enchancing the qualities of our life.

Thus, think before you throw. Everything start from ourself.
