I love Malaysia

Malaysia is our beloved country. A beautiful country which we can never compare with another. What is so unique about Malaysia? Multi-racial can live together harmoniously. Living in peace and no war. Rich with all kind of treasury for such the jungle with different species of animal and plants, great view of yellowish padi-field, numerous number of oil palm estate, and also spectacular places for holiday.

Multi-racial in Malaysia give many advantages to each other. Every one get to know different culture, food and languages. Malay, Chinese and Indian celebrate their festive together. We must remember without each other, there will be no country in the name of Malaysia. Long long time a go, when our ancestors desperately ask for independence the colonizer just never listen. However, when the Malay, Chinese and Indian combined and fight for freedom, only then the colonizer started to realise that we are ready to rule our own country. Finally, on the 31st of August 1957 we first celebrated the independence day. Unfortunately, nowadays racism beginning to start. People of every race tend to whine about other races. No one remember without any of these races, Malaysia will be very weak and who knows maybe the colonizer will again defeat us.

When I was driving just now, I felt so grateful. Malaysia is one country which own the best trafic system. I still can remember when I was in Arab I can see how different the situation there. Early in the morning, the sound of the car horn can be heard clearly here and there. I assumed they just don't have the level of patience like our driver. Malaysian drivers are well-mannered because they still stop when the trafic light turn to red. Although road jams everywhere, but we still can wait patiently.

Furthermore, Malaysia is full with many foreigner whether illegal or not. Thousands tourist from all over the world come to our country every year. Well, i think this is also one of the specialities in Malaysia. I mean, I don't have to go to Indonesia just to see their people. There are huge number of Indonesian here whether in supermarket, also in the bus. Some of them get married to our people too. Isn't that great? Not forgetting the Philapines, Viatnamese, also the Bangladeshi fill up our country. We don't have to spend money to go anywhere because everything is here! You don't believe me? Just go to any of the best restaurant in Malaysia and observed who is the waiter. Unique right..

In conclusion, we have to appriciate our country. Show our gratitude by giving meritorious service. If you feel there are still not enough in Malaysia, why not if you yourself change it. Why must we be highly educated but never think to change Malaysia to be a better place.. Think and think..

What should I do??

I was in front of the television and there was a movie. The issue that the director tried to bring out to our community really captured my attention. The movie was about a poor man, Dean. He was murded by a group of selfish thieves. Dean was driving at night, suddenly a man covered with blood crossed the road and asking for a help. Immediately, Dean stopped his car and opened the door to help the man. Out of nowhere, another 2 man came and one of them with a big wood in his hand hit Dean's head. The other man kicked Dean without mercy. Dean died on the road and there was blood every where. The cruel thieves took away Dean' s wallet and ran away with Dean's car.

So, after watching that movie this question just 'pop' into my mind, ''What if the same thing happen to me?''. What should I do? Should I stop or should i just continue driving. Well, if we are in the situation, as human being of course we'll be panic. Shocked to see a man full of blood and ask for our favour. Our instinct will ask us to help that man but our mind demand us don't. There are many possibilities to be considered.

First, if i stop what will happen to me? I may be just like Dean. End up my life on the road with full of blood. In this mean world, many things had happened. We can always read on the newspaper how a girl being raped and killed. There maybe a prospect if i stop my car, i get raped by that man. Or that man may also kidnap me and sell me to Thailand or worst constrain me to be a prostitute. That's a tragedy!!

Second, if I don't stop the car what will happen? What if that man was really in need and only my help can save his life. What if because of me leaving that man, he died. I mean, he could be somebody's husband or father. Can I stop from feeling guilty because of me, a wife become a widow and a child become an orphan. Can I forgive myself?

Such a hard decision to do. Maybe you say I should think my safety first. However as a human being, deep inside our heart we always want to do the right thing, want to help people, want to solve problem, feel pity to people. Of course I want to help that man, because he's in trouble. What should I do?????

What happen to our world now? People are becoming so cruel, so brutal. Humanity decreases each day. We no longer have the courage to help others because nowadays people take advantage of our kindness. We must do something to block this enigma from becoming worst. Do something to prepare a beautiful and safe world for our children also the future leader of the world!

Enjoyable Moments in Starbucks.

STARBUCKS. They said ' Starbucks has always been a place where you can find the world's best coffees' Is it true?? In order to confirm it, you have to go to Starbucks and experience it yourself! Recently, I had my own experience in Starbucks coincidentally.

Well, actually it was all organised by Mr. Jimmy, my IAE teacher in HICT. Mr. Jimmy wanted to train us to listen to live lecture. So, we have to attend for a coffee talk in Starbucks, Klang Parade. About 10.45 o'clock on the 21st February morning, me together with all my classmates gathered in Starbucks. After a simple brief from Mr. Jimmy, my 1st journey in coffee phenomena started.

While waiting for the coffee talk to start, the 'barista' served us with Frappuccino. It was blended coffee with cream. For me, the taste was great. Good starting for the coffee talk. It made me intrested to know more information about coffee..

The coffee talk started when Ms Diana, the store manager introduced us the coffee master 'Mr Yang'. Firstly, Mr Yang explained the purposes of this coffee talk ; to introduce us to Starbucks coffee, how they make the coffee and also mutual learning. Further, Mr Yang told us the history of coffee. From his story, a goat-herder found out his goat became more active after consuming red cherries. Curiosity made the goat-herder to try the red cherries. (Red cherries actually is the coffee bean before they roast it) Delighted by its invigorating effects, a group of monks began to consume the bean themselves. The result was unexpected. The monks experienced 'sudden' energy ehich made them stay awake the whole night to meditate. In addition, Mr Yang also told us that the first place of coffee was in Ethopia. That's how coffee began to be everyone favourite drink.

So, we move on to the history of Starbucks. Briefly, Starbucks was first opened in 1971, Seattle. In 1982, Howard schultz joined Starbucks. Mr Yang repeatedly told us that Howard Schultz transformed coffee to a brand. So, in 1998, Starbucks was first introduced in Malaysia. In 2000s, Starbucks has spread their business around the world. Now, everybody can enjoy world's best coffee in Starbucks.

Personally, I never know anything regarding coffee before this. The only thing I know, 'coffee is black in colour'. However, recently i can tell you there are 2 important species of coffee; Arabica coffee and Robusta coffee. Even so, Starbucks only uses Arabica coffee because of it high quality and unique aroma.

Geography is a flavour. From the coffee talk, i just noticed that coffee taste different according to where it was grown. Mainly there are 3 growing regions; Latin America, Africa/Arabia and Asia/Pasific. According to Mr Yang, the best place to grow coffee is in Asia/Pasific. A coffee expert usually know how to diffrentiate where the coffee was grown only by tasting it. Starbucks also specified coffee into 4 types; mild, medium, bold and extra bold. For a first timer, he or she should take mild coffee.

Starbucks has 4 fundametals that make them unique. First, the proportion. To prepare a cup of great taste coffee, they use the right proportion of coffee to water. The best proportion will be 10 grams of coffee mixed with 180 mililiters of water. Second, grind. Different brewing methods have different grinding requirements. Grind differ the fine texture of the coffee taste. Third, water. Do you know that minerl water will destroy the coffee?? It's true! The right way to make coffee is by using normal water without chlorine. the best temperature of the water is between 90 degree celcius to 96 degree celcius. The last fundametal is to maintain the freshness. In Starbucks, they only grind the coffee bean when consumer ask for it. This is because coffee bean has 4 enemies; sunlight, oxygen, moisture, and heat. Thus, 1 bag of coffee only last for 7 days.

Alright, now i'm gonna teach all of you the real way to taste coffee. There are 4 simple steps to be taken. Firstly, you have to smell. Simple, close 3/4 of the cup with your fingers and take a deep smell of the coffee. Secondly, slurp it. Yes, slurp it just like you slurp maggi mee. Thirdly, locate the experience in your tounge. Lastly, create a coffee description. How do I know the steps? Well, I'm a coffee expert now.. No, just joking. Mr Yang tought me those steps before the coffee tasting took part.

In conclusion, the coffee talk really change my thought about coffee. It gave me more information which i don't even bother before this. I had a wonderful and enjoyable moments in Starbucks. The best thing of all for me, when we were given door gift(it contains a cup with Starbucks logo and a packet of Starbucks coffee). It cost about RM50 if we buy it. Cool right! so, what are you waiting for?? Experience yourself in Starbucks now!!
